Westport House, Co. Mayo, will host the 2017 Mini International Festival from the 25th May to 28th May.
Described as a ‘Mini’ Electric Picnic, this three day event is expected to attract close to 3,000 fans and 1,200 Minis.
Event highlights include a Mini treasure hunt along the Wild Atlantic Way, a Puc Fada competition, slalom races, and awards for the most beautiful, extraordinary and fastest versions of the classic Mini.
Paddy Hopkirk, who won the Monte Carlo Rally in a classic Mini in 1964, and Irish motor racing legend, Mervyn Johnson, will open the event.
The event is organised by the Irish Mini Owners Club and is open to all. Tickets are available from the IMM 2017 website.
The International Mini Meet is one of the highlights of the calendar year for Mini clubs around the world. Enthusiasts from all over the world have been sharing their passion for the classic Mini at this event since 1978, when it started as a small, three-day camping event in Germany.
It’s now an international event that takes place every year in a different country.
