The new Kia Ceed SW (Sportswagon) goes on sale in Ireland this week, priced from €25,295.
The Kia Ceed SW will join the Kia Ceed hatchback, which arrived in Ireland earlier in 2018.
The Kia Ceed SW will go on sale here with the choice of a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine or a 1.6-litre diesel. The diesel is priced from €27,595.
The Kia Ceed SW will be available in just one trim level at launch – ‘K3’. Standard equipment includes 16″ alloys, electric windows, rear privacy glass, auto lights, 7″ touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, parking camera, air con, wireless phone charger, cruise control, keyless entry, lane keeping assist, high beam assistant and forward collision avoidance system.
The third-generation model has more cabin and cargo space (600 litres) than its predecessor.
James Brooks, Managing Director of Kia Motors Ireland, says,“The Kia Ceed Sportswagon is a welcome addition to the new Ceed range. Wagon sales in Ireland have softened in recent years but a model like this with luggage space greater than most D segment tourers is an attractive proposition for both private and fleet buyers in Ireland.
In January 2019, an all-new Kia ProCeed ‘shooting brake’ will go on sale, completing the Ceed line-up.
