The Alfa Romeo Stelvio will go on sale in Ireland this September priced from €47,295 for a 2.2-litre 180hp diesel rear wheel drive model.

At launch, buyers will be able to choose between two engine versions – 2.2-litre 210hp diesel Q4 AWD and 2.0-litre 280hp petrol Q4 AWD – combined with an ZF eight-speed automatic transmission as standard.

From October the Alfa Romeo Stelvio will also be available to order with a 2.2-litre diesel engine, producing 180hp and available in both Q4 all-wheel-drive or rear-wheel-drive, and a 2.0-litre petrol engine, with 200hp and Q4 all-wheel-drive.

The 2.2-litre 210hp diesel Q4 AWD has emissions of 127g/km Co2 and returns 4.8l/100km (58.9mpg) on a combined cycle. Acceleration from 0 – 100kmh is 6.6 seconds.

The new Alfa Romeo Stelvio comes with a host of safety equipment including an Integrated Brake System, Autonomous Emergency Brake with pedestrian detection, Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning.

Four trim levels will be available from September including Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Super, Speciale and an exclusive 2017 Milano Edizione trim.

The entry trim level ‘Stelvio’ (from €47,295) includes 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, LED rear lights, dual-zone climate control, Keyless Go, electric tailgate, cruise control, rear park distance control and automatic rain/light sensors, Alfa™ D.N.A. rotary driving mode selector, a 3.5-inch TFT colour cluster instrument panel, and the Alfa Connect™ 8.8-inch display infotainment system.

‘Super’ trim (from €49,545) includes an 8.8-inch infotainment system with 3D navigation system and 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, two-tone leather dashboard, leather and cloth upholstery, 18-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels and front parking sensors.

‘Speciale’ trim (from €54,995) includes 19-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels with red brake calipers, chrome window surround, 35W Bi-Xenon headlights with adaptive frontlight system (AFS), power folding exterior mirrors, leather upholstery, heated front seats with six-way power adjustment and a heated sports steering wheel.

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio launch edition Milano Edizione (from €57,495) includes sporty leather seats, a 10 speaker Sound Theatre, 20-inch V-Spoke alloy wheels, keyless entry, a rear-view camera and privacy glass with black gloss window surround.

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio will be in showrooms from October.
