
Audi Ireland has announced Irish pricing for the 2020 Audi A3 Sportback and Audi A3 Saloon ahead of the arrival of these new generation models to Ireland this summer.
The all-new A3 gets a stylish new look and brand new interior with all the latest Audi technology and features. The A3 is premium compact vehicle available as a hatchback or saloon.
2020 Audi A3 Sportback equipment and pricing for Ireland
The Audi A3 Sportback is the five door hatchback derivative of the popular A3 range and is in dealers now available to test drive. Pricing will start from €30,550. At launch the new A3 Sportback will be available with a choice of two engine versions – a 1.5 TFSI turbo petrol with 110 hp (30 TFSI) or 150 hp (35 TFSI), and a 2.0 TDI diesel (116 hp). The engine versions at start of production will be combined with front-wheel drive. Power will be transmitted by a six-speed manual transmission or the seven-speed S tronic automatic.
Trim lines include Attraction, SE and S Line. Standard equipment on the Audi A3 Sportback Attraction (from €30,550) includes 16″ alloys, LED headlights, automatic lights and wiper, manual air con, digital instrument display, rear parking sensors, Audi pre sense front safety tech, smartphone interface, Audi phone box light, 10.1” touch display, digital radio and lane departure warning. SE models start from €32,150 and include 17” alloy wheels, cruise control, aluminium inserts in the door sills, and dual zone climate control.
The top of the range sport Audi A3 Sportback S Line starts from €36,340. Equipment includes front sports seats with leather, 18” alloy wheels, sports suspension, flat-bottomed steering wheel, LED front lights with LED dynamic rear lights, Audi drive select and S line exterior styling including roof spoiler and sports front and rear bumpers. Inside there are S line interior elements including stainless steel pedals, S line scuff plates in doors, S line steering wheel, black headliner, split folding rear seat back rest with centre armrest and cupholders and an armrest in leather.
Diesels start from €32,550 for the Attraction 30 TDI 6-speed with 116 hp.

Inside the 2020 Audi A3, buyers will find the latest Audi MMI operating system. It performs all tasks relating to connectivity, including telephony and the Audi connect services with LTE Advanced speed, and also boasts an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot. The instrument panel with the central MMI touch display is tilted slightly toward the driver. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel is also available. In cars equipped with the Audi virtual cockpit plus, the screen measures 12.3 inches and offers three different views, including sporty graphics.
Audi A3 Saloon on the way in August
The Audi A3 Saloon is the saloon derivative of the A3 and has proved a hit with Irish buyers. We are told it will arrive in Audi dealers from August, with pricing starting from €31,545. The new A3 Saloon is available with a choice of two TFSI petrol engines and one TDI diesel engine at launch. The 35 TFSI is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine with 150 hp. It is available with a newly developed six-speed manual transmission and with a seven-speed S tronic gearbox. There’s also cylinder on demand technology and a 48-volt mild hybrid system to improve efficiency.
