The new Xpeng G6 is now available in IrelandXpeng is the newest car brand to arrive in Ireland. The Chinese carmaker has just launched the new Xpeng G6 to the Irish market via its Irish distribution partner, Motor Distributors Limited (MDL).
The G6 is the brand’s first model to launch here, a new electric coupe SUV that will be available from launch with the choice of two batteries.
The range will start from €42,000 for the standard range, rear wheel drive with a 66kWh LFP battery and range up to 435 kilometres (WLTP), rising to €49,440 for the long range, rear wheel drive with 87.5kWh lithium-ion battery with range up to 570 kilometres (WLTP).
An all wheel drive performance model will arrive in the third quarter of this year with a range-topping 476hp and 0-100km/h in just 4.1 seconds.
The G6 also has a standard heat pump and 800 volt charging architecture that means it can fast charge from 10-80% in just 20 minutes at a suitably rapid charger.
Standard features include 20-inch alloys with Michelin tyres, panoramic glass roof, heated and ventilated front seats, synthetic leather upholstery, heated steering wheel, two 50W wireless smartphone charging pads, a 960W audio system with 18 speakers, and an extensive library of music, video, entertainment and social media apps.
An electrically deployable tow bar will be optional across the range, with the G6’s towing capacity rated at up to 1,500 kgs.
Xpeng will bolster its range in Ireland in the coming months with the arrival of the G9 large SUV, P7 electric saloon and P7+ fastback.
Vehicles will initially be available to test drive from Xpeng South Dublin in Deansgrange, to be followed by more dealer appointments.
