Citroen has welcomed two new models to its range of cars and SUVs in Ireland, the new Citroen C3 Aircross and the larger Citroen C5 Aircross family SUV.
The arrival of these models alongside the latest C3 supermini is helping to bolster the French brand’s position in Ireland. Registrations for 2026 are already up 100% on last year thanks to Citroen’s refreshed line-up of some of its historic bestsellers.
Citroen C3 Aircross
The Citroen C3 Aircross is the second generation of the compact SUV based on the C3 supermini. Built on an all-new platform, it offers efficient petrol and hybrid powertrains, alongside a new electric C3 Aircross with up to 400 kilometres of range from a 54kWh battery.
It’s available in Plus or Max trim lines, with both a five or seven seat option available. The five-seat C3 Aircross is available from €27,790, or from €28,990 for the seven seater, making it one of the most affordable on the market.
Citroen C5 Aircross
The new generation of the Citroen C5 Aircross marks a return for Citroen’s bestseller. The five-seat family SUV is even more spacious than before and now offers petrol hybrid, plug-in hybrid and EV options with range up to 520km or 680km depending on model.
Pricing starts from €39,300 for the hybrid and from €39,939 for the electric. The top of the range, fully-loaded plug-in hybrid will arrive shortly priced from €49,990.
It adds even more specification and sophistication than before with standard equipment including the new ‘Waterfall’ portrait-style touchscreen, Citroen’s advanced comfort seats and suspension, as well wireless smartphone charger and adaptive cruise control.
Boot space is generous at 651 litres and is the same no matter which fuel type. The rear seats can also recline for even more comfort.
Both the new Citroen C3 Aircross and C5 Aircross are available from dealers now.
