The Grande Panda is positioned as a practical and budget-friendly small SUV and sits on a new platform that introduces full electric and petrol hybrid powertrains.
Fiat Grande Panda price in Ireland
The range kicks off from an attractive €22,995 for the electric, which is available in three trim levels: Pop, Icon and La Prima. It uses a 44kWh battery with a city-friendly range of up to 320 kilometres (WLTP) and 100kW DC fast charging.
A longer range battery will join the Grande Panda range before the end of the year with up to 400 kilometres.
The hybrid range starts from €25,800 in the Icon trim, rising to €28,880 for the top of the range La Prima. Based around a 1.2-litre, three cylinder petrol engine, the hybrid has 110hp and fuel consumption as low as 5 litres per 100 kilometres.
The hybrid is the best for boot space at 412 litres, while the electric drops that to 361 litres.
What sort of equipment does the Grande Panda have?
Standard features include 16-inch steel wheels, digital driver display, air conditioning and rear parking sensors. Most buyers are expected to opt for the Icon trim, which adds aero covers to the wheels, LED headlamps, cruise control and touchscreen.
The top of the range La Prima brings styling upgrades including 17-inch alloy wheels, skid plates, and roof rails, as well as special fabric upholstery, parking camera and wireless smartphone charging.
A petrol manual is expected to arrive before the end of the year.
The new Fiat Grande Panda will help to strengthen the brand’s position in Ireland alongside the Fiat 500 and the Fiat 600.
