The Opel Grandland is getting a makeover, with a new look unveiled today by the German brand.
Designed and produced in Germany, and available in petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid four-wheel drive variants, the new Grandland will arrive in Ireland at the end of the year.
The latest Grandland will get the new Opel Vizor brand face, like other models in the range – Mokka and Crossland. The Grandland name and the Opel Blitz brand logo now stand in the middle of the rear tailgate.
Further accents are set by the bumpers and side panels, now painted in body colour, as well as the underbody skid-plates in high-gloss black and silver. The new Grandland is also available in Opel’s characteristic two-tone paint for the roof.
The inside of the car will also receive an update with a fully digital Pure Panel, which features two wide screens in a single unit. The central touchscreen faces the driver and will be available up to 10″ in size.
Connectivity and entertainment are provided by infotainment systems that are also compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android. The top-of-the-line Multimedia Navi Pro delivers real-time traffic information, online map updates and predictive navigation. Wireless charging in the centre console is also available.

The new Opel Grandland features numerous assistance systems: night vision, highway integration assist, 360-degree panorama camera, automatic parking assistant, blind spot warning system, front collision warning with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, drowsiness detection and cruise control. Other new features will include adaptive IntelliLux LED® Pixel Lights, Night Vision and semi-adaptive Highway Integration Assist making it a technology match for the Insignia and strengthening its position as Opel’s flagship SUV.
Opel will open the order books for the newly developed SUV flagship in a few weeks’ time.
