Jeep Ireland has announced details for the updated 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, now available at Jeep dealers nationwide, starting from €70,950.

The 2017 model has a new Start&Stop function and electric power steering, which helps to achieve a 14g reduction in CO2 (down to 184g/km), compared with the previous model. Fuel economy has also been improved to a claimed 40.4mpg on diesel versions.

New colours have been added with some mild exterior styling tweaks and the addition of acoustic glass now improves the cabin experience.

Inside there’s a new gear lever and revised centre stack. There is now the ability to select between different drive modes (Sport, Comfort or Normal).  The Rear Park Assist safety feature now includes a ‘Stop’ function up to 11kmh.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee starts at €70,950 for the Limited 3.0L V6 CRD 250hp, a reduction in price of over €9,000. Key standard equipment includes 20″ alloy wheels and Bi-Xenon headlights as well as black leather trimmed upholstery and a Uconnect 8.4inch smart-touch navigation system.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 3.0L V6 CRD 250hp now costs €76,850, a saving of over €13,000.

The Grand Cherokee Summit 3.0L V6 CRD 250hp is now €82,450, a saving of over €14,000.

The range-topping Grand Cherokee SRT is a high performance SUV and is now priced at €109,950, a saving of over €10,000. It features a 6.4-litre V8 HEMI engine delivering 468hp plus 20-inch ‘Black Vapour’ SRT alloy wheels with high performance Pirelli tyres and a Quadra-tracTM active on-demand 4WD system.
