Irish DJ and producer Shane Codd rose to fame with his breakout single ‘Get Out My Head’, which was created in his bedroom during lockdown in 2020. The track saw immediate success, gaining support from BBC Radio 1, KISS FM, Capital FM and SLAM FM, and it’s currently sitting at over 75 million Spotify streams.

Heavily influenced by the 90s and early-2000s dance sound, Shane’s first big break came when he became a finalist at the 2018 ‘Breakout Producer’ competition held by DJ Mark McCabe.

His latest single is ‘It Ain’t Right’ and is out now.

Shane talks to Changing Lanes about his BMW 4 Series.

1. Can you introduce yourself to our readers?

I’m a DJ and music producer from Ireland, you may know me from my last track ‘Get Out My Head’, which reached the Top 10 in the UK and Ireland. I hope you’ll know me from my future music also.

2. What inspires your music?

The music that inspires me is mainly 2000’s and 90’s dance music – artists such as Avicii and Calvin Harris.

I love the power you get from this car and how smooth it is to drive.

5. Is there anything you would change about this car?

There’s nothing that I can think of that I would change about my car actually!

6. Favourite memory of the car?

My favourite memory is probably the first day I got the car, and feeling the power behind the steering. I loved how brand new it looked and how sporty it was. It was just the first car that I was really amazed and excited by.
