New Opel Grandland X 1.5 Diesel Engine
Opel Ireland has just announced the addition of a new Opel Grandland X 1.5 diesel to the range with 130hp.
The new engine replaces the current 1.6-litre 120hp diesel variant and is more economical and powerful. Maximum torque is 300 Nm at 1750 rpm. With a six-speed manual transmission, the combined fuel consumption is 4.2-4.1 l/100 km and CO2 emissions between 110-108 g/km.
The new engine is also available with an advanced new eight-speed automatic transmission.
The new powertrain is designed to meet strict future emissions requirements thanks to an innovative oxidation catalyst/NOx adsorber coupled with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR).
The Opel Grandland X 1.5 130hp diesel engine will be available to order from Opel dealerships in May for 182 deliveries.
By 2020, Opel will also offer the Grandland X as the brand’s first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).
The Opel Grandland X starts at €27,995 for the petrol variant and €28,995 for the diesel variant.
