Ireland’s latest Tesla Supercharger site has just opened at Applegreen Castlebellingham on the M1.

Applegreen Castlebellingham is a motorway service area located on the M1, one of Ireland’s busiest motorways, and offers recreational areas and food for drivers and families on the move.

The Tesla Supercharger has a total of 16 bays with eight on the Northbound side and eight Southbound. The location opens up Tesla travel from Dublin to Belfast and beyond. Tesla owners can stop for lunch, dinner or a quick coffee while their battery recharges, gaining half a charge in as little as 20 minutes.

For long distance travel, the Supercharger network allows Tesla owners to conveniently charge on major routes all over Europe. Using Superchargers alone, Tesla owners can travel as far as the Arctic Circle in Norway and southern Spain or Italy.

At either side of the Supercharging experience, there is home charging and then destination charging.

With destination charging, Tesla also partners with hotels, restaurants, shopping centres and resorts to make charging when you arrive at your destination as simple as charging at home.
