A Dublin towing company has announced it will extend its free car towing, jump start service and breakdown assistance programme until September.
In response to the Coronavirus pandemic, AsapTow has volunteered two of its tow trucks to answer emergency calls from two groups most in need at this time. The company’s free assistance is for those aged 60 years and above and frontline workers including HSE staff, Gardai and the Defence Forces in the North Dublin area.
Patrick Gavin, CEO of AsapTow, said:
“At AsapTow.ie, we have a culture of putting human life and comfort ahead of profits and anything else. In difficult times like these, we realise that many seniors are having various challenges with their cars as social distancing and lockdown continues, and it’s leaving a good number of them stranded and potentially helpless.
We also realise that health workers as well as other frontline service providers may encounter the same challenges as they work hard to restore normality in the wake of this pandemic.
While we monitor the outbreak of COVID-19, we encourage everyone to stay calm, practice proper hygiene, obey government-imposed restrictions and stick to social distancing as well as other measures recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO). We join the rest of the world in solidarity for the affected individuals and the hardest hit regions.”
AsapTow.ie is a full service roadside and breakdown assistance company based in Baldoyle, North Dublin. The company has been in operation since 2015 and offers a full spectrum of services including home start service, changing flat tyres, breakdown service, and car towing.
